First edition. The present book, one of the rarest and most sought-after architectural publications of our time, is also one of the most lavishly printed art books printed in post-revolurionary Russia and must be called execellently and generously printed. It bears mentioning in this connection that in the exhibition of the Centre Pompidou “Paris – Moscow 1900-1930” (1979), which was then taken over from the USSR, 9 watercolors, designs from the “Architectural Fictions”, were exhibited (see catalogue p. 535, and color reproduction p. 304). (Holstein catalogue 105 #342).
Spine and covers spotted, spine slightly worn. Interior in clean condition.
