The final issue of this avant-garde architectural journal. Archigram (from Architecture and telegram) was a group of British architects who published their designs, from the residential capsule to the ‘Living City’, in the magazine of the same name from 1960 to 1974. Archigram included Peter Cook, Warren Chalk, Dennis Crompton, David Greene, Ron Herron and Michael Webb. Archigram epitomised a current of utopian avant-garde architecture of the 1960s in Western countries. The group exerted its influence not through actual buildings, but through the publication of sketched designs.
Very fine copy.
