Each volume has the architecture of a country as its theme. Some countries, for example Germany, have more than one volume, these are called part 1, 2 and so on.  This series impressively demonstrates how great the interest was in Japan in the current architecture of Europe and America in the 1920s and also what influence the “New Building” immediately had worldwide.

The following volumes are presented (all that have been published).

Vol. 1 = England;

Vol. 2 = America part 1;

Vol. 3 = America part 2;

Vol. 4 = Germany & Austria part 1;

Vol. 5 = Germany & Austria part 2;

Vol. 6 = Germany & Austria part 3;

Vol. 7 = France part 1;

Vol. 8 = France part 2;

Vol. 9 = France part 3;

Vol. 10 = Holland part 1

Vol. 11 = Holland and Belgium part 2;

Vol. 12 = Scandinavia part 1;

Vol. 13 = Scandinavia part 2;

Vol. 14 = Switzerland & Czechoslovakia;

Vol. 15 = Italy & Spain;

Vol. 16 = Russia; part 1

Vol. 17 = Russia & Poland part 2

All volumes are well preserved and have an unusually large format (41 x 29,5 cm). The text sheets are, as always, somewhat browned due to the paper quality. The plates are clean and fresh. A few portfolios somewhat stained and some ties missing. A detailed description of the condition is available on request.
