First edition, first impression of the first detailed documentation of the famous Imperial Hotel built from 1915-1923 and known as Wright’s building in Japan. The building had extensive interiors designed entirely by Wright down to the dishes. It is one of F.L.Wright's most important early works and had an important influence on his further work and his career in the USA.
Very rare. Robert Sweeney mentions the book in his Wright Bibliography: Sweeney, Frank Lloyd Wright: An Annotated Bibliography, # 148., however, had never seen it in contrast to almost all other books in his bibliography listed.
