First edition. Lajos (Ludwig) Kozma (1884-1948), one of the masters of Hungarian Art Nouveau, had an unprecedented influence on European design through his drawings, buildings and furniture. „Das Neue Haus“ (The New House), one of his major works in which he set out his architectural principles, was written in reaction to his inability to practice in his native Hungary, a victim of the anti-Semitic laws of 1938.
